2019 Development Seminar
The 108th Academic Year University Development Seminar of our school was successfully held on Thursday, January 9, 109, at National Chung Hsing University and Feng Chia University. Led by the President, our colleagues participated in the seminar, with the presence of President Fu-Sheng Hsueh from National Chung Hsing University and President Bing-Chien Lee from Feng Chia University, who exchanged insights with attendees.

The theme of the seminar was "Next-Generation Campus Environment Renovation and Student Learning Space Planning." It featured keynote speeches and on-site visits. Vice President Wu-Chang Su from National Chung Hsing University and Executive Director Fang-Chung Tu from Feng Chia University were invited to share their universities' efforts in student dormitory and teaching space planning. Topics included dormitory management, renovation of old dormitories, and how campus spaces should adapt to changes in the broader educational environment.

From this seminar, we learned about other universities' dormitory management approaches. Dormitories aim not only to provide a comfortable living environment but, after renovation, also offer humanized space planning that gives students a fresh experience. Enhanced living functions make dormitories more than just a resting place—they become spaces for learning, social interaction, and creative development.
The experiences gained from this seminar visits have been highly beneficial for our staff and will assist in the future planning of student dormitories and learning spaces at our university.
