Current Status of Overall Development at the High-Speed Rail Campus (Former Xingzhong Branch)

2011.09.26 Approval of the establishment plan announced by the Executive Yuan
2012.03.15 The Executive Yuan notified the Ministry of Education to change the property to non-public use according to Article 33 of the National Property Act, and to allocate it for use according to Article 38 of the same law
2012.04.23 Completed free allocation of the Huwei Air Force Base from the Ministry of National Defense

2012.07.24 Entrusted the Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of the Interior, to handle the “Xingzhong Branch Land Development Planning and Permit Amendment Project”
2014.03.11 The Central Regional Water Resources Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs, gave principle approval for the water usage plan

Current Status of Phase 1 New Construction by Section

Section 1

Construction started on April 26, 2021, and obtained the usage permit on September 25, 2023.
Section 2

Construction started on October 7, 2022, and is expected to be completed by October 7, 2025.
As of September 14, 2025, planned progress was 85.01%, actual progress 86.07%. Current construction status of each building is as follows:
　(1) International Industry-Academia Cooperation Building: interior decoration, MEP works, and outdoor landscaping in progress.
　(2) Practice Workshop: roof, interior decoration, MEP works, and outdoor landscaping in progress.
　(3) Campus Gate Guardhouse: interior decoration, MEP works, and outdoor landscaping in progress.
